Nyang Nyang beach

I knew this beach named Nyang Nyang from cousin's friend. Based on what I'd read in her blog, Nyang Nyang beach is one of hidden gem in  Bali. One of the "private" beach that make people have to put some effort to get there. You gotta put your step going through a cliff's edge, forest full of monkey, tracking down about 20 minutes, find a secret garden full of blooming flower in the middle, and then there you go a white sands beach. Well, at least that's what I can resume from her blog. 

A Secret garden in a hidden beach. Sound contagious. That was my first thought about Nyang Nyang beach from the photos I saw. Before we came to the beach.

So, when we've got to spent our new year's eve in Bali again, I feel so curious to visit this beach. Well, I curious about the secret garden firsts. We drove about 1 hour from Seminyak to Uluwatu. Waze is really helpful. The track to the location from there, though. Follow the route straight to Uluwatu Luhur temple, before reaching the temple, we'll find Jl. Batu Nunggalan. Turn left and follow the road until you find a villa's parking lot. Tricky it is. I got to asked the villa workers to show me which way to go down there. 

There's a signboard leading to the trek saying "To the beach". Offers a fascinating view of the Indian Ocean from the edge of the cliff. Walking down from the cliff's edge to the beach would take about 20 minutes, but the precipitous trek between the trees might slow you down a bit. Not to forget the monkey. Then you find the beach.

But sadly, we couldn't find the secret garden they've been telling about. I asked the Balinese girl at the beach, they said they couldn't find it either. So we think that maybe because its super late summer, so the flower's didn't bloom. So sad. We just spent about an hour at the beach. The sun's shining super bright that day. We couldn't find a best spot to sit and relax because most of the trees has been cutting down. We decided to going back and  thinking about going to Greenbowl beach instead. Looking up to the cliff and we both said "this is not gonna be as easy as going down".

We got lost. 

Going up is really a different story. We got lost in the middle of forest, finding our way back to the edge and there's no one around. Sweats everywhere, we don't have any water's left, and the power going low. There's a moment when I felt like I cant make it through this. I finally said the - Ay aku capek banget asli - to him. He didn't reply, We stop and take a break a lot. I knew he's tired too, I think he didn't wanna said it because it would make me more hopeless. He just said " Tunggu sini, aku cari jalan". Then I just followed him.

One hour later. We made it to the top.

Blister's everywhere in our foots. We got super thirsty but no water's around. 

"Balik yuk". 

There's no Greenbowl anymore in our agenda, and we're so gonna forget about this Nyang Nyang beach. I think the beach is overated. I find it similar as Klapa Beach. I'm not coming back,

Lulus kuliah tepat waktu tanpa masalah

Semester 1 selesai dengan baik. 2016 akan diisi dengan semester 2 dan semester 3. If everything goes well right on time, I'll have my title in the beginning of 2017. Amien to that!

Sukses nabung (forever resolutions)

Me and him make a simple plan this year. A joint account. So we're gonna post a million each month from our salary to one account. It may not be spent, unless its emergency. I think its really important so that we (me, especially) can learn how to commit in our financial balance.

Despite of, I do it myself too. Disamping pengeluaran untuk kuliah, nyokap, sehari hari, tagihan tagihan, I should be able to save. Come on Din!! *keplak kepala sendiri*

Kerjaan lancar tanpa drama

Baik drama sama teman kantor, drama kerjaannya dan drama drama lainnya.

Akhir tahun kemarin, saya yang awalnya cuma nemenin si mas ke dokter gigi ,dia sudah terjadwal untuk operasi giginya yang impaksi, akhirnya malah jadi ikut perawatan pembersihan karang gigi. Namun, ketika pembersihan karang gigi dilakukan, tak sengaja menyenggol gigi tambalan depan saya hingga rusak. Akibatnya tambalan itu harus diganti dengan yang baru. Namun, 2 hari kemudian, saya tiba tiba demam dan pipi sebelah kanan saya bengkak disertai rasa nyeri yang bikin ga nyaman. Saya lalu kontak dokter, kemudian dia memberikan obat untuk membunuh bakteri yang mungkin masih tersisa. Berbekal obat ditangan, saya pede berangkat liburan tahun baru dengan pipi yang masih bengkak sebelah. I swear to God I looked super hideous. Tapi perubahan tidak terjadi, saya terpaksa melewati malam tahun baru dengan kompres di pipi kiri dan antibiotik dan tidur. Pagi di tanggal 1, saya kembali kontak dokter Retno dan memfoto bagian dalam bibir saya yang muncul bengkak seperti berisi cairan. Dokter menyuruh saya untuk segera mencari dokter gigi setempat untuk dilakukan trepanasi atau pengeluaran cairan.Benar saja, setelah tindakan trepanasi dilakukan, pipi dan kondisi mulut saya perlahan membaik. Setidaknya sudah bisa senyum lagi kalau difoto. Sesampai di Jakarta, saya langsung meluncur ke praktek dokter Retno sambil membawa rontgen gigi saya tahun 2014.

Eng Ing Eng...she found a cyst!

Yep, kista di gusi atas, dekat cuping hidung. And its quite a big. Harus dioperasi.

So, tepat ditanggal 10 januari, I did a small surgery to get my cyst removed, and it costs me almost 11million rupiahs. But, thanks to my super insurance, I didn't pay anything, but no longer insurance cover for my dentist, internist, and any other regular check up doctor for the rest of 2016. Karena itu saya harus tetap sehat!Sakit itu mahal..aselik! Selain itu yaaaaa siapa sih yang mau sakit, sangat super ga enak.
