Jogja! I'm in love : Day 2

Ullen Sentalu

First stop, a friend recommended this place, she said its beautiful yet spooky. Got me more excited to come.. so here we are, at Ullen Sentalu, a museum of Keraton's culture created by a brilliant man named Mr.Haryono. First heard it, I suddenly think what a really beautiful name, turns out it had a beautiful meaning too.

too bad we're not allowed to take a picture inside the museum.But, one thing..I do feel ashamed, this people really know how to treat and preserve their culture. Its beautiful and touchy. I don't have a word for it.You just have to come by yourself then bam!! you're gonna fall in love with Jogja..Just like I did :')

Taman Sari

This place is part of Keraton's. It has a pool inside, which in the past used by the princess to shower and bath, and then the prince will come peering through the window and choose which ones appeal to his heart. Sounds cute and smells selfish :) If you follow the footpath, you're gonna find an underground mosque. Too bad its really crowded that day so I couldn't get a nice picture :(

Vredeburg

Ok, I think its a fort. Going inside you'll gonna find a lot of diorama which you never seen before (well, I haven't,until now;) The diorama is about the war of independence, the mighty General Soedirman and then declaration of our independence. It have a button that will give voice conversation when you push it. We've got goosebumps when we push relief of reading the proclamation and we can hear Soekarno's voice read the text. So interesting!!!! I do in love with Jogja.. I really do.

Time to go back to Jakarta :'(

J !! i'm in love : Day 1

I'm dating Jogja with my best girls. Just four of us, shared laugh,fun and misery. With limitless amount of money haha. We're really can't hold our knee and desire to visit one of this World 7 Wonders (well, used to be).

walking around the famous Malioboro at evening, dinner at angkringan and watched the unexpected performance of the hermaphrodite *oops* at Mirota. The show called The Metero Sexual Cabaret Show. It was SUPRISINGLY fun and great!! They singing, dancing and parody-ing at the same time..we're really had a great things to enjoy. And luckily we've got a chance to meet the owner of Mirota / Raminten (famous store in Jogja where you can get anything as souvenir). An amazing person, they called him -or her,yess,,his a transgender- Romo. He wore a red summer hat, nice earring, gorgeous necklace , and a cane, and a RED HIGH HELLS!! wow..amazing rite? Anyway, see picture below, one of my favorite performance :)

ps: we agree that we don't belong to Jogja's culinary.. we just don't fit in it :D.. oh and don't forget to have a sip or late night snack at Via Via Cafe (st.prawirotaman). Cozy!

its Tim...Its Burton

Had a fun early dinner wif my elementary friend at Innako toys cafe at St.Senopati. Just a fine place -I'll picked Stroberi cafe instead - but the interesting point, they displayed a lot of cartoon character. This one below really stole my attention

Tim Burton's one of my favorite director, not just because his favorite actor is Mr.Depp (*wink) , I always like his differences. Strong one. Let's name, Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street - musical of the same name by Stephen Sondheim; again, a horror movie I LOVE. To me, this is Burton's best film; everything was so. PERFECT. Maybe I'm a little biased, because I'm a bit of a musicals freak as well, but everyone just hit the nail on the head in this - and who would have thought Johnny could sing?? ; Edward Scissorhands - original; and it's absolutely brilliant, simply gorgeous. ; Batman Returns - Batman comic books e.t.c.; his first sequel, though not as good as the first, I don't think, it's even darker than the first. Loved Michelle Pfeiffer's performance as Catwoman and CHRISTOPHER WALKEN'S IN IT, so of course I like this movie (I have a strange love for Christopher Walken, and I'm not quite sure why...) ; Sleepy Hollow - 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' by Washington Irving; damn, this is one horror movie I LOVE. Absolutely love the atmosphere, the characters, the flippin' cinematography: I believe this actually is one of the most beautiful horror movies ever made (I used to think it THE most beautiful, but then I watched Let the Right One In) ;Corpse Bride - original, but based off an ancient Russian folk-tale; I. LOVE. THIS. MOVIE. SO. MUCH. IT'S. SO. BEAUTIFUL. I. CAN'T. FAULT. IT. SO. DON'T. MAKE. ME. TRY. ; The Nightmare Before Christmas - original, but based off Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas; this is a wonderful wonderful movie, and the only Xmas movie you can watch in October! Characters are amazing, animation is amazing, music is amazing, just the magic of it all is AMAZING.


I do reckon some of his trademark on making a movie. Such as often does the beginning credits sequence with the camera going through something , He often likes to open his films with a quiet night time snowfall, Many of his films feature townspeople who misunderstand and/or distrust the lead character,Long unwashed hair & large sunglasses, Effective use of musical interludes, Black clothing, Frequently features dead or dismembered dogs, His films often have a Gothic feel to them, often including Christmas and/or Halloween scenes, and many others.Did you realize it too? Fancy.


Anyway, What if Tim Burton directed all the Harry Potter Movies?
Dark,of course. He probably would have had Johnny Depp playing Snape.Lol

Have you ever bad mouthing your ex? You think about their negative side and tellin' it to your friend? I haven't. and I kinda hate it..Well, I'm not the best person to talk about relationship and life, I even almost never been in a long term relationship. My longest relationship is about a year and 3 months. Booft..You know what,maybe I am suck at it......................................................... :(
So anyway, all I talked is about how to respect something or someone that once ever made you smile, blushing, laugh, and happy! I think its important, lets hear the story.
I have a friend who always share every relationship he ever had to me. One day, he broke up with his 3 years girlfriend and told me why he decide to go to different way. And after blah blah blah and couple more of blah blah blah he start to mumbling about things he don't like from his ex. I'm silently sit and listening to every words. When he realize it, he said " What with the silent and grumpy face?".
I HATE IT.. its not that I hate it because its really not appropriate, but the fact that you ever loved that person for several years..shared all laugh, tears,kisses,hugs,fights and all memory consist it. Its better if you keep it to yourself and never ever think to telling that part to other people, or worst, tell it to your current girlfriend!! *inhale-exhale. Its not make you a better person. #Justsaying

We’ve all heard the old adage ‘you are what you eat’, but have you ever stopped to think exactly how true that is? Put simply, healthy eating is the key to well being. We all have up to 100 trillion cells in our bodies, each one demanding a constant supply of daily nutrients in order to function optimally. Food affects all of these cells, and by extension, every aspect of our being: mood, energy levels, food cravings, thinking capacity, sex drive, sleeping habits and general health. If you feed your body junk and convenience foods it’ll simply lay down fat, lower your energy, even your brain power.

its not that I don't want to talk about it..But I love too eat.. Can we just eat without worry for getting faaaaa***t? I hope we can, but we unfortunately can't. Those food too delicious and to evil!!

I don't know what a proper way to write what really hanging in my mind right now. Okay, hit the point, I'm feeling one of bestgirl,kinda look like a completely stranger to me. She come visited me a couple days ago, like usual, we talk,share,gossip and laugh.But something went wrong in my head. It started when she said she's finally make a relationship with one in our group. Well, to be clear, let me start with a couple month ago story. My group of seven since highschool had become a group with really intimate bond and we're just like family. Last year, someone,lets call him "X" -who also went into some high school with us- entering our little group and play along with us. He get in touch,,share,,and commit to our little group, just like he's belong to us.. For me, its not a big problem (at that moment), and so the others (I think). Then, the problems comes along.. I started to think one of my friend act differently, and without further notice, we start to barely talk. And then X start to had jealousy problem with his current girlfriend. Essentially, the X's girlfriend got jealous of my bestgirl who she considered had more ties to her boyfriend. and she thought her boy had a feeling to this girl too.Being lazy discuss further, I immediately asked my bestgirl and X ,if it's true or not. I asked them about two and three times and the answer remains the same. Whether they really like each other or not.And clearly they both said : NO!!

There I left with the answer NO..by that, I think there's no problem anymore as long as they commit and firm. But the fact was not the case .. some time after that, when she visited me, she told me that she and the X have formed a loving relationship. All I did was pause and laugh. I don't even know what to say anymore..I have no word, except "Its your problem..I am no one who deserve to talk about who you should or shouldn't love.". I admit. By that time, that's all I can say. And that's it,,that's when I began to feel she's change. A completely stranger. Maybe I can't explain more detail about how I feel. She's totally different now, and and my mind makes the X look very bad,it's like every single thing he did before, has a purpose. and that make me sick. I know I'm not supposed to feel and act this way.. I supposed to support and bless whatever her choice. But really, it felt so weird and annoying.

It takes time to be OK with whats going on..

we don't really know what exactly what we want from this world. we don't really know how to face the world either. But juts because sometimes world's sucks..doesn't mean we hate living in this beautiful world. You can always talking about someone else with your girls and laugh your ass off about it. It doesn't matter. Cause somewhere, people talks about you too. Sometimes its a good thing,,and most time its a bad one.Lol. In our offense, we're not being cynical or over-reacted or skeptical (you name it..) we're just looking for something fun.Yea,like you never did it!!*smirk.
